After School Programs

The Lab School of Washington would like to invite all students to be a part of our very unique After School program.

The Lab School After School program gives you opportunities to become secret agents, founding fathers, mad scientists, engineers and more in our signature Club classes.

A variety of arts centered classes will engage the creative child through visual and performing arts from around the world to mastering the fine art of cake decorating. Our Global Arts class combines the food, art and culture from each of the seven continents.  While the Anime class focuses on the Japanese style of animation and Manga, Japanese comics.

On the more physical side, students can challenge themselves mentally and physically through Tae Kwon Do, Water Sports, and Ice Skating. Girls on the Run is a unique class to get young girls excited about fitness and nutrition.

If you are looking to go in a different direction, then maybe The Dragon Cookhouse would be right for you. Students will sharpen their knives as well as their culinary skills as they work their way through the kitchen hierarchy. Students will be earning culinary badges as they accomplish culinary skill work while cooking up cuisine from different countries.

Now that Lab School has expanded to our Foxhall campus, we are looking forward to expanding our program to all kids in the community ages 6-12.

Registration opens August 24th at 8:00am for the Fall 2011 Session. You may register online or fill out and submit a hard copy of the forms. If registering online and wish to pay by credit card, please contact Lisa Holley at 202.641.5847 to provide payment information. Or you may send in a check made payable to the Lab School. Please send in any checks and registration forms to Lisa's attention to our Reservoir campus.
